Just to acknowledge again that ALL FOR KIDS NGO is a none profit organization. AFK NGO operations, salaries and other overhead costs occurred at AFK is entirely relying on donations. It could be in cash, in kind, and hand-on support. Fundraising efforts are important for AFK existence and success. Therefore any types of fundraising activities are crucial to AFK projects to keep carrying on.
Funding sources may happen through membership dues, the sale of goods and services, private sector for-profit companies by their CSR programs, grants and philanthropic foundations, charity events and private donations directly or through online Crowdfunding sites.
Here under are some of the funding sources and activities that you may consider be part of our meaningful journey:
Major Donors
Having regular donations are the most important part to keep our organization, school and the core activities running and progressing over the time.
1 – Helpucation e.V. charity association based in Germany. With a long story back in 2004 when the chairman Mr. Andreas Dorner and his wife met Mr. Samnang Chhon, the AFK Founding Director. This great story led to the founding of these two charity organizations. Helpucation founded all the mainstream of the organization. That is including staff salary, administration cost and other case by case project needs.
2- Ivanhoe Grammar School in Australia. Since 2008, through the Friends Forever program, AKC team had built a solid relationship with the teachers and travel leaders there. As a result, every year in June or July Ivanhoe brought their students to do the hand-on service project at our school. Their trip covered all the activities expenses and project cost depending on the year of need. As of 2019, a new school has been built and co-funding with Logos Academy School in Hong Kong.
3- Link For Aid supports AFK by giving children necessary accessories and stationery to learning. Mrs. Pamela McCourt Francescone, the president first met Samnang in 2011 at Asian Tourism Forum ATF. In the last four years it has donated school uniforms, materials and bicycles to over 100 children from Samrong village, enabling them to attend school. The Rome-based charity association, Link For Aid has also donated the first solar panel and the library to the AKC School.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) term has been used worldwide for business as a mechanism to drive their social responsible ethics in their marketing plan. According to Investopedia, Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable—to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.
While most companies failed to do it right, this marketing activity has caused issues. Instead of creating sustainability but dependency. Their programs are neither benefiting the target group nor making the participants feel shameful of their contribution.
By having Sam involved, you can relax, Sam will do from A-Z for you. Sam has placed himself in the event management, corporate travel management, and travel management for years. He has served many big players like Cisco Systems, Atlas Copco, Lawrence & Hanson, Haulotte and more. The participants returned to their office, home, and life with full energy, and inspiration.
Through this CSR Program, AFK will gain the infrastructures, facilities and networking benefits. Example:
In February 2020, AKC school welcome electrician experts hosted by Lawrence & Hanson to donate and install the lighting, wiring, and data cables.
In January 2020, Haulottle APME team raised went to purchase projector cum screen and photocopier for the school. In Siem Reap, the team lent their hands to lay pipes in the village, setting up the projector and screen, photocopied cum binding books for the teaching materials required for the new year.
Need to consult a meaningful CSR program in Siem Reap, let’s consult with Sam.

The money collected, they donate to the charity or NGO like ALL FOR KIDS NGO. Example: Bread Run in Hong Kong, where volunteers run out to bakeries across the city to collect leftover loaves, rolls and buns and sell or directly give those collected stuff to the needy.
